Local Texas Chapters were recognized for their hard work in 2019 at the Volunteer Appreciation and Awards State Banquet, held at the Brazos Center in Bryan on January 25, 2020.

There is a detailed process and it is not a gimme. Applicants will be graded and the winner determined by the highest score received and all other items will be reviewed and taken into consideration. Please read the requirements carefully especially the parts about being a member of the NWTF and having a hunting license.
This scholarship is designed to be awarded to someone interested in conservation and our hunting heritage, both of which are initiatives of the NWTF.

Read MoreOur State of Texas Volunteer Appreciation Awards program was a huge success last weekend. We celebrated some of the best volunteers in the State from the last year. The weekend started with a State Chapter Board of Directors meeting where we worked to set the budget for 2019. Then, attendees enjoyed time of fellowship and fun carnival style games before recognizing volunteers and chapters for outstanding service. Thanks to all who attended and helped organize the event.
