Olivia Danielle Ansley, representing the San Jac Strutters Chapter, was chosen from an outstanding field of local chapter winners in the NWTF 2018 Texas Academic Scholarship Competition. Olivia, an 18 year old senior at Shepherd High School, posted a 4.0 GPA and ranked 1st in her class of 131 seniors. An all-around student with numerous leadership positions and awards, Olivia plans to attend Sam Houston State University in Huntsville to major in Kinesiology.

We are once again selling Texas NWTF gun calendars for 2019. The calendars are $50 each and they give you one chance a week to win one of 52 guns to be given away. That comes out to .96 cents a week. Only 1,000 calendars will be sold at $50. Each calendar gives you a chance at all 52 guns. The winning number is determined by the Wednesday evening "Pick 3" Texas Lottery drawing.

Hello fellow NWTF Texas members! What an honor it is to be re-elected as your Texas State Board of Directors President for my second and final term. I am looking forward to what the future holds for the Texas State Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation, as well as all of our local chapters.

The Montgomery County chapter is pleased to announce that Cassidy Poehl is the 2018 recipient of a $1000 NWTF scholarship and will presented with it at the second annual  Montgomery County NWTF banquet to be held on August 16, 2018.

The 30th Pineywoods NWTF Hunting Heritage Banquet, at the Pitser Garrison Civic Center in Lufkin on July 28, 2018. Doors open at 6 pm.  Mark your calendars!
