Kody and Lance getting the word out at the annual Outdoor Sports Expo in Llano

NWTF members of the Highland Lakes Chapter celebrated the great outdoors today with our Texas RD, Kody, at the Llano Outdoor Sports Expo!

The Llano Outdoor Sports Expo is the largest event of its kind in the Hill Country. We will have live music, seminars, and dozens of vendors showcasing exciting opportunities to get out and enjoy Texas. Hosted by the Llano Chamber of Commerce on the Friday before the kickoff of Deer Rifle Season.

Llano is the OFFICIAL Deer Capital of The Texas Hill Country!

The annual event was held at the Llano Visitor Center. The event brings together outdoor enthusiasts, hunters, landowners and families for a day filled with education, entertainment, food and plenty of chances to win.

Guests can connect with Texas State Game Wardens and biologists, and learn from local wildlife experts.

The Outdoor Expo also featured dozens of outdoor and hunting exhibits, including the National Wildlife Turkey Federation (Thanks Kody!), food and beverages, free goodie bags while supplies last, wildlife education and informational seminars, and live music.

The expo also hosted and an incredible raffle with the grand prize being 2026 Kawasaki Mule Pro FXT 1000.
